Kid Power Students at Miner Elementary School have been learning about the situation in Darfur. They have been participating in several educational projects. They read and discussed an academic lesson, took a library field trip, and listened to a guest speaker from Africa Action. They also baked goods that they will sell on April 25th as part of Global youth service day. They will bake from 11:00-2:00 at Calvary Baptist Church in Chinatown.
